Our History

It all started with a single office in Roskilde

Voxeværket was opened by Henrik Oxe in 2013. At the time, the concept wasn’t fully developed—it began as a sales initiative for the large, empty building on Københavnsvej in Roskilde, which had stood vacant for a long time.

On November 28, 2013, the red carpet was rolled out, a few cars were parked in front of the building, and Roskilde’s business community was invited to the grand opening. We haven’t looked back since.

Today, we are one of the country’s leading chains, with more than 25 locations spread across more than 23 cities in Denmark. And we’ve only just gotten started.

What our customers say

Here's what our tenants have to say

Hear what the tenants have to say about daily life in the buildings.

Tenant at VoxeværketGitte Kilhof

“Affectum – Remarkable Personal Growth in the Care Sector Gitte Kilhof is the owner of Affectum, which is based at Voxeværket in Roskilde. There, she works alongside her staff in a stylish glass-walled office on the first floor. She joined the company four years ago—but has truly had her hands full. Especially over the past year and a half, when the company has really taken off. Once you meet Gitte, there’s no doubt about how incredibly professional she is. You sense someone who lives for her project and, above all, believes in it so strongly that you don’t need to hear the whole story about the company before you believe in it yourself. The work is primarily about personal development so that people can help others. Ripples in the water. A call from Christiansborg and a logo, along with a company name that has been impressively analyzed down to the smallest detail—you can read about it in the following interview… or rather, report. The first thing that naturally came to mind was, of course, what does Affectum do? "We have our concept. It’s called GROWTH CULTURE. If you take the word ‘culture’ and turn it into an acronym, as we’ve done, you get six dimensions. What we’re working on here is creating bottom-line results for our clients, but also helping people grow."

“At BR Offset, we originally worked with printed materials such as flyers, business cards, brochures, stickers, and more.”

Tenant at VoxeværketRandi Balling

“The Unconventional Bookkeeper – Balling Solution Randi Balling is based at Voxeværket in Roskilde, where she has two private glass-walled offices. She was one of the first to start her business in Roskilde—but has since expanded to include offices in Charlottenlund and Amager. Randi is an atypical bookkeeper, a skilled businesswoman, and she actually uses a hiring trick that many business owners shy away from. We met with Randi to talk about how Balling Solution came to be, her development over the past few years, and the challenges the market presents. A desire for bookkeeping. A desire for accounting. A passion for preparing accounts payable lists. A passion for invoicing… Okay, invoicing—that’s actually fun. But for many of us, dealing with numbers can be annoying and time-consuming. A time-sink, perhaps. Something that just needs to be gotten through. But for Randi, this passion arose from a significant family need. “It came about because my mother got sick when she was quite young. Back then, she did my father’s bookkeeping—he was a carpenter. I’m a math major and have always worked with numbers. So she asked me, ‘Can you learn this so you can help?’ and of course I could.”

“First aid courses and an online store featuring a product you hope you’ll never have to use. You know the one. That green box that hangs on the wall, either outdoors or indoors, and often has a little flashing light. Have you also noticed that there are more and more green boxes popping up in public places and at businesses when you visit them? Maybe you have one yourself. Maybe your homeowners’ association has one. But defibrillators have become insanely popular. Partly because of Trygfonden’s extensive efforts to promote them. Three years ago, Mark and Anders started the company First-8.dk, and it’s partly thanks to them that you see defibrillators in everyday life. “We’re a company that teaches first aid. Anders is one half, and I’m the other half—I have a background in the military. We worked there for nine years.”

— First-8.dk

Tenant at VoxeværketHenrik Kruse

“August is coming to an end, so we’ve once again put together our Tenant of the Month interview. This time, we visited Voxeværket Glostrup, where OnlineCargo is based. The name kind of gives away what kind of company it is… and yet it doesn’t. The interview is with Henrik Kruse, who is responsible for sales and development. Among other things, Henrik talks about a young company where no two days are alike and a strong pricing model for freight. But who is OnlineCargo? “OnlineCargo is a relatively young company that was founded in August 2015. The owners behind it have a combined total of over 30 years of experience with freight from various companies. Specifically, we’ve done away with the high list prices of the major freight providers. We’ve developed a unique concept that gives all our customers fixed, low prices.”
